Awards
President's Award
The President's Award was established in 2006 by Dave Kuempel, who was our President at that time. The award as created as a way for the President to recognize an outstanding member for their involvement and dedication to the club, and for their assistance to the President during their term of office.

Turkey Award
The Turkey Award was created by our 2005 Competition Director, Kurt Schwamberger, after a rather hilarious incident happened to one of our members at the Spartan Speedway low-speed event. Kurt just felt the moment shouldn’t go unrecognized, thus the Turkey Award was born.
Each year, Capital City Corvette Club's President proudly hands out the Turkey Award—a lighthearted honor reserved for a moment of good-natured mishap or humorous misstep by one of our members. It's all in fun, and it keeps us laughing while highlighting the joys (and occasional chaos) of Corvette life.

Top Ten Awards
Capital City Corvette Club members have the opportunity to earn recognition at the local, regional, and national levels. Within our club, we operate a Points Program designed to celebrate active involvement and community spirit.
Throughout the year, our Points Director tracks member participation. Points are awarded for a variety of contributions, including:
- Chairing or hosting events
- Organizing club activities
- Attending club meetings
- Participating in sanctioned events
The Top Ten point earners are highlighted during the year and honored with awards at our annual Awards Banquet—a celebration of dedication, enthusiasm, and Corvette camaraderie.
